Iliad Battle Poem
Menelaus turned as the arrow pierced his chest
Pandarus placing an arrow through the plate on his breast
Agamemnon arose and rallied the troops
All mixed in their individual groups.
The battle broke out all men armed and ready
Swinging their swords until their arms became heavy
Chariots rode past at breakneck pace
Men attacking each other with force and grace.
Odysseus, infuriated by the loss of his men
Pushed in and fought hard again
The Trojans backed away almost done
Til Odysseus brought down one of Priam’s sons.
Men dropping like flies
Many looked up to the skies
Hoping for an answer from one of the gods
Looking for an advantage in the odds.
Diomedes then arose from the carnage
Men and chariots covered land like foliage
Diomedes body was on fire
Athenes power was raising him higher.
He began to work
Cutting down men with a simple jerk
Falling the best men
The Trojans scattered like hen.
He took arrows like they were nothing
The Trojans had no power and were loathing
Pandarus began to shoot wildly
The Trojan forces were depleted mildly.
As the two forces clashed
The cowards ran with a flash
The Achaeans and Trojans fought hard and fast
Enemies until the very last.

Him:
A Shakespearean Sonnet
The wint’ry skin that glows upon his face
Doth shine more bright than words could ever say
His eyes more depth than emptiness in space
His hair more waves than oceans in the day
The way he walks across in morning light
Commands my heart to write a song unsung
I love the way he holds my hand so tight
Like gasping forth some air inside my lung
His lips do teach the eagles how to fly
The roses learn ‘bout how thy seed is spread
His love could make a priest of God near lie
And make an angel fear what lies ahead
But there is more than what a man couldst see
Like such a heart locked up without a key

My Story Cut Down
Sometimes you don't feel like you have a will to live
You just want to be gone or be a shadow
That no one can see
In this case, I'm the one suffering
My parents tell me to change but, I don't know how
I look out to the beautiful sky but all I See is darkness
All I want to do is be in a comer and
Or sleep and never wake up
I .rnay be happy when I'm around others
But when I'm home, I feel like the world Has ended for me
I will always be that happy girl through
The outside but through the
Inside I'm full of miserably
I have tried to do harmful things to myself
But there is always a voice that makes me stop
That voice that tells me that I have a future
To accomplish and never give up but in Reality, I'm done with everything
I became someone new but with the same
Problems, but those problems
Won't stop me from reaching my goals
This is a story that I never told but
I write to you as a poem that I just told
